Child of Eden to be released on June 14

Ubisoft has confirmed a release date for the Kinect version of Tetsuya Mizuguchi's "fantasy rhythm- shooter",Child of Eden.

Set to launch on Xbox 360 June 14, a date for the PS3 version is currently unknown, but a Ubisoft representative told Gamespot that the firm would have "more info for the PS3 later."

In the game, players are tasked with rescuing Project Lumi, which is something which will "reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories." Your job is to destroy the virus which has invaded the program.

Shapes in the game take on the persona of the virus, and can eventually look like a very gigantic worm.

It will be playable with the normal 360 controller, as well as Kinect, but wording on the game box claims the later makes it "better."
