The Outer Worlds launch trailer is all about human duality and T. Rex

Will you be the hero or the villain of Obsidian's The Outer Worlds?

That's the question posed in the official launch trailer for the new RPG, which launches later this month - let your eyes feast on those moving pictures below. Most of the video centers around player choice, and the resulting knock-on effects it will have on The Outer Worlds' narrative.

The story of The Outer Worlds will follow one of two directions, depending on a choice you make early on.  All of them are choice-driven, which is what’s going to make the ending different for almost every player.

The trailer also features the dulcet tones of T. Rex, using their tune "20th Century Boy" as backing soundtrack. The Outer Worlds takes place in an alternate future that diverged aroud the year 1901, you see. Plus, there's never a bad excuse for using T. Rex.

The Outer Worlds is out October 25 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out our hands-on preview, which describes the game as "absurdly violent and strangely comical."
