Red Dead Redemption 2 has now shipped more than 24 million, GTA 5 over 110 million

Rockstar parent company Take-Two gave an update on sales for its two biggest games during last night's earnings call.

In revealing the results for Q4 of FY2019, Take-Two Interactive, as it often does, boasted a little bit about life-to-date sales for GTA, and Red Dead Redemption.

In the call, the publisher confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2, which launched last October, has already shipped over 24 million copies worldwide. The game continues to perform better than expected, and the last three months were no exception.

This means the game has shipped a million copies in the last three months alone (quarter), as Take-Two's last given figure was 23 million in February.

And, like clockwork, investors once again asked whether the company plans to release the game on PC at some point, to which CEO Strauss Zelnick provided no clear answer, saying that, "We let our labels talk about what's coming next. We leave those announcements to them."

GTA 5, too, continues to sell really well six years from launch. The game has now shipped 110 million copies worldwide, a staggering figure incomparable to any other, even classic GTA games.
