Dead Rising 4 video takes you back to Willamette and features all new gameplay footage
In this new video, Capcom Vancouver goes over some of the new features in Dead Rising 4. There's some gameplay footage in there too.
The Microsoft timed exclusive was first revealed just ahead of E3 2016 when a poster featuring Frank West leaked online, followed by a set of screenshots.
Dead Rising 4 was officially unveiled during the Microsoft E3 2016 showcase, where a holiday release window was announced.
The game takes place 16 years after the events of the original Dead Rising, with West determined to uncover the truth behind the outbreak.
Players can expect new undead enemies such as the Fresh, which people who have just gone through the change. They were turn undead right before the player's eyes, would should be interesting to see, and they have “superior speed and ferocity," much like a new vampire - or so some movies of a particular franchise would have one believe. Why I even brought that up, I have no idea.
Anyway, there will be another new enemy called the Evo which "mimic the behavior of predatory hunting animals." Players will be able to hopefully hold their own against the former humans using a myriad of crafted weapons and EXO Suits which give West both super-strength and incredible firepower.
The game supports four-player co-op missions and has a quick match feature which allowing players to join a game in-progress.
Dead Rising 4 will arrive on December 6 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. It will remain a Windows 10 exclusive for the first 90 days and console exclusive on Xbox One for one year.
