Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - Plunder multiplayer mode makes a return

The multiplayer mode Plunder has been announced for  Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and it will be playable at PAX East this weekend.

Plunder Mode for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer revealed

Included in previous Uncharted multiplayer lists, Plunder is a Capture the Flag type mode featuring an idol instead of a flag. Players will need to find the idol on the map and get it home safely to toss in a treasure chest.

A few changes have been made to the game type with Uncharted 4. In previous Uncharted games, the player carrying the idol "could not traverse with it." This restriction has been removed.

The mode is also no longer 5v5, and has been changed to 4v4.

Plunder will be playable on the maps Island, Madagascar City, and Rooftops. These maps were playable in the beta and multiplayer stress test.

Naughty Dogs said it has more to reveal regarding the game after PAX East thsi weekend, said what it will will announce "will please a lot of people."

Uncharted 4 releases on PlayStation 4 May 10.
