The Division has topped the Media Create charts in Japan, besting The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

According to the sales chart, The Division sold 80,703 on PlayStation 4 at launch compared with Twilight Princess HD’s 52,282 units.

In a region where shooters are usually not very popular, this is a nice win for Ubisoft.

Ubisoft announced yesterday The Division made $330 million globally during launch week, calling it the “biggest first week ever” for a new IP.

When Destiny launched in 2014, it was the best-selling new IP with $325 million in sales worldwide
