Dark Souls PC tool enumerates your many, many deaths

Dark Souls fans on PC can take advantage of a cool tool built by fans over on Dark Souls Deaths.

Just upload your save file to find out precisely how many times you've died attempting to conquer From Software's beastly hard RPG - a statistic normally kept hidden from the player, lest they lie down and cry.

Apparently, the average number of deaths in a complete playthrough is around 650; not even 70% of players have finished one playthrough; and nearly 400 people so far think "F**k This I Quit" is the best nickname for Ornstein and Smough.

The sequel, Dark Souls 2, arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 11 in North America and March 14 in Europe, while the PC version is due on April 25.

Thanks, CVG.
