Prototype 2 PC release pushed back without reason

Sorry, PC Massive - your Prototype 2 fix just moved three months further along the calendar.

According to a post on the game's Facebook page, the PC version of Prototype 2 is now due July 24 - three months after its console brethren.

No reason was given for the delay, although developer Radical Entertainment promised more news soon.

The new dating puts the PC release after a planned set of content updates, delivered free to those who purchase the Radnet version of the game. No such special edition has been announced for the PC, so with any luck the delayed release may get a dose of extra content to make up for the wait.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are expected on April 24.

Thanks, Gamefront.
