Cities Skylines for the Xbox One will be shown off next month at GDC.

It's the first time we'll get to see a proper look at the city management sim since it was teased way back in August 2015. You can get a glimpse of it at 1:01 in the video below.

Microsoft will let press see the Colossal Order/Paradox game at GDC 2017, which begins February 27.

Cities Skylines had sold over 2 million copies at the last count, but that was March last year so we would imagine it's probably added another million since then.

How good is it? It's has "very positive" ratings on Steam and a Metacritic score of 85 percent. Both of which are reasons to be excited.

While we're on the subject of Paradox, here's what else it will be showing to the press at GDC next month:

  • Cities: Skylines - a new expansion designed for veterans of the game, including new transportation and traffic features.
  • Stellaris - Debut the first major expansion, bigger than any release since the original game.
  • Europa Universalis IV - A tour of the latest expansion.
  • A NEW GAME - Paradox has a new partnership with a third-party developer, and will be showing off a real-time strategy game with a multiplayer focus.
