Cities: Skylines gets surprise release on Switch

Cities: Skylines was announced for Nintendo Switch and released overnight on the eShop.

Paradox's popular city builder Cities: Skylines was part of Nintendo's September Direct, which was streamed last night.

However, unlike most games featured on the show, Cities: Skylines was immediately available following its conclusion. This is Paradox's first game ever on Switch, too.

Cities: Skylines is priced $30 on Switch, and comes with both the After Dark, and Snowfall expansions. The Switch version features new UI, and support for HD Rumble, and the Switch Pro Controller.

New players will find a series of new advanced tutorials designed to bring them up to speed.
