For Honor alpha tester breaks NDA to spill the beans on horrendous matchmaking issues

They've got to fix this before release, right?

The For Honor alpha is live right now on PC for a small number of players, but things are not going well according to one of the players who broke the NDA to share his frustration with the peer-to-peer matchmaking.

The video above was posted on Reddit with a post echoing the gist of the video - matchmaking is having some serious issues right now with the absence of dedicated servers.

There's even a petition to get Ubisoft to implement them, or at least make them aware of the community's take on the matter.

For Honor isn't out until February 2017 so there's time for Ubisoft to refine the online multiplayer before then, but so far it appears that the players in the alpha are quickly losing confidence in them.

Do you think we'll see dedicated servers by release? Will the game tank without them? Chime in below.
