Mafia 3 extended Gamescom footage shows Lincoln Clay hunting down a member of the mob
Over 15 minutes of gameplay and it looks great.
Mafia 3 is out in a couple of weeks and the extended gameplay video from Gamescom gives us a sneak peek at one of the missions.
Lincoln Clay is on his way to take out Tony Derazio, one of Sal Marcano’s underbosses, so if you're trying to avoid spoilers, I'd steer clear.
Haden Blackman, creative director and studio head at Hangar 13, talks us through the different ways you can deal with Tony.
"We can go in guns blazing, we can take a stealthier approach, we can even call in reinforcements. It's really all up to the player."
There are two ways to get to Tony's penthouse, and the option we see play out is sneaking through the hotel's garage, but storming the lobby is an alternative.
We also get a look at a few of the 10 districts and a chunk of the story to boot. I'm becoming tempted to pick myself up a copy with the more I see of the game.
Mafia 3 is due for release on October 7 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
