Serious Sam VR would definitely be better with this minigun peripheral

Serious Sam developer Croteam has been having some fun with prototype peripherals for virtual reality.

VR probably needs to support simple, cheap controllers if it's really going to take off, but that hasn't stopped developers from having some fun indulging more far out ieas.

HTC Vive shared the image below, which shows a minigun controller for VR experiences - presumably Serious Sam. The powered peripheral boasts a spinning barrel.

In a later tweet, HTC said the peripheral is just a bit of fun, so don't expect to see it on store shelves any time soon.

It'd make a great addition to demos at events, though; maybe we'll see it at gamescom?
