European players must wait until February 12 for Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition.
The original version of Dying Light will “disappear instantly” from digital stores on February 9.
In its place will be Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, complete with new modes, vehicles, map and story expansion.
Although digital versions of the new game will replace the old version on February 9 in the US, some players in Europe will have to wait until February 12 on consoles to play The Following – Enhanced Edition.
Good old fashioned discs are shipping to stores as we speak, and should be on sale on Feb 9 in most regions.
“The launch of Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition also means that the original version is going to be increasingly harder to come by,” said Techland.
“Digitally, it’ll disappear instantly on February 9th. As for retail, we will cease shipping additional copies, so it will remain available only as long as stocks last. If you plan to grab your copy of the vanilla Dying Light at a reduced price, or want the original box for your collection, now is the best time to do it.”
