Another DOOM multiplayer alpha kicks off tomorrow

DOOM will be playable oh-so-soon, and you may well be eligible to try it out

Are you registered for the DOOM beta? There's a good chance you might get a slot in the closed alpha, too.

According to the DOOM testing FAQ, those who picked up Wolfenstein: The New order before May 26 2014 and redeemed their beta code may be chosen to participate in this weekend's technical test.

If you purchased a PC copy (retail or Steam), watch for a Steam notification - if you've been selected. You'll find the client in your library.

PlayStation 3 and PS4 beta registrants in many territories and all Xbox 360 and Xbox One beta registrants are granted automatic entry to the alpha. Check your console's game library today and tomorrow to download the client ahead of the starting gun.

The test kicks off at 7:00pm PT December 3. It's under NDA, but those of us on the sidelines can probably expect leaks if past alphas are anything to go by.

DOOM is headed to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in the first half of 2016.
