Star Wars: Battlefront won't have server browsers on console

It seems Star Wars: Battlefront on consoles will utilize a unique matchmaking system rather than server browsers.

Posting to the game's Reddit community, community manager Matthew Everett stated that the game " will not offer a server browser, but will utilize a new skill based matchmaking system".

Whether or not this comment applies to the PC version as well is unclear, as Everett was responding to a question about the console versions. However, the wording of his response - which does not clarify - suggests that the PC version may not have server browsers either.

While DICE's games have typically had server browsers on PC and console, it seems that Star Wars: Battlefront, which will go into beta in October, will have a new system. Hopefully we'll have more details soon.
