Until Dawn stream archives not allowed on Twitch

After a few reports from Twitch users, the streaming service has confirmed that Until Dawn livestreams are not being archived.

If you're planning on livestreaming Until Dawn through your PlayStation 4, your stream won't be archived after it ends. Stream archiving is open for most other games on the service, and it's simply a way for users to watch content on demand when they miss live shows.

That's not the case for Until Dawn however, as Sony has disabled the feature for anyone streaming the game using the built-in Twitch app.

It started out with reports on Reddit, NeoGAF and social media networks and was later confirmed by Twitch support on Twitter.

Reports indicate that this doesn't apply to users using third-party tools to stream, like capture cards etc. The vast majority of people however will be using PS4 Share, which is the reason the app exists in the first place.

A good reason for Sony to do this may have something to with spoilers. However, Until Dawn prides itself on having multiple ways a scene could play out, and is almost impossible to spoil in some instances.
