Driveclub sales surpass 2 million units

Driveclub has apparently sold pretty well.
Driveclub has sold over 2 million copies, developer Evolution has announced. Game director Paul Rustchynsky shared the happy news on Twitter along with an image of a custom made award.
Here it is with two platinum discs.
Rustchynsky added the figure was reached before the PlayStation Plus Edition became available for free. Which means the game reached the milestone in about eight months.
