According to translations made by Andriasang from a Dengeki Online round table session held with Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura, the actual name of the Final Fantasy 7 remake will be revealed this winter - possibly during the annual exposition Jump Festa in Japan.

When asked during the session by Famitsu if the game will be more than just an HD conversion, Nomura yes, as the development team is taking a different approach by creating "something that matches the times."

Part of this different approach, according to Nomura, will come from Final Fantasy writer Kazushige Nojima's involvement; therefore, players can expect some story changes to be made. Plus, the team wants the final product to be as interesting as possible.

"Details are a little ways off, but we're making progress with something that will not let expectations down," said Nomura.

Square is currently discussing other information it can reveal on the FF7 remake sometime around November.

The Final Fantasy 7 remake has been in development since the HD port was announced for PS4, and upon release, it will be a timed-exclusive on PlayStation 4 per the announcement made at the Sony E3 2015 press conference.

A trailer for the game was shown during Square Enix's E3 2015 presentation yesterday, along with news of a delay for the aforementioned PC port for PS4.
