Attack on Titan has a US release date, title changed in EU over copyright claim

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will be released under a different title in Europe, according to the publisher, and while a release date has been set for North America, the same cannot be said for fans across the pond.

According to Atlus, a copyright claim in Europe has forced the company to publish the title in the regions as SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN: Humanity in Chains. You might want to write that down so you won't forget.

An exact launch date for Europe will be announced at a later date, with Atlus saying to "stay tuned."

Previously known as Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind, the Spike Chunsoft 3DS action game will be released in North America on May 12 for $39.99.

Everyone in Europe and the Americas who purchase a copy of the game will receive a free Attack on Titan 3DS theme.
