No, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is not coming to Wii U

Nobody has ever, ever said call of Duty: Advanced warfare would come to Wii U, but in case you were holding out precious hope - relinquish it.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will release on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November.

It will not be coming to Wii U, Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey said on Twitter.

It's not that surprising that fans were hopeful. After all, Black Ops 2 and Ghosts both came to Wii U, and Ubisoft has said it makes Wii U games and then waits to see if there's demand.

But in this case? Nope. Unless the console suddenly sells a boatload more and Call of Duty multiplayer activity on Wii U spikes and sustains, we probably can't even count on a late port, like Ghosts was.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
