A bad moon is rising in Lords of the Fallen footage

Lords of the Fallen, otherwise known as the Great Hope of RPGs, has produced a new trailer. You should look at it.

If you've somehow missed it, Lords of the Fallen comes from Tomasz Gop, producer of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The RPG got a new trailer in celebration of San Diego Comic Con, which you can watch below courtesy of IGN.

I'm really excited about Lords of the Fallen because The Witcher 2 was rad, and Gop seems determined to wield together the perfect RPG from all his favourite parts. I'm a little disappointed by the aesthetic, though - it could be any generic black-and-red fantasy world, you know?

I probably wouldn't even be thinking about that if Namco Bandai/City Interactive/Deck13 Interactive or whoever hadn't chosen to recycle an overused trailer trope, though. "Slow cover of song about bad stuff happening over slow motion action" can p**s right off, seriously. Over it.

Lords of the Fallen is due on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in October.
