Watch DJ Jazzy Jeff and Jeremy Ellis remix the Super Mario Bros. theme

Monday, 7th July 2014 16:18 GMT By Sherif Saed

The Super Mario Bros. theme had to have been remixed thousands of times by different people, in different music genres. Few are as energetic as this improvised attempt by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Jeremy Ellis however.

The pair were accompanied by the drummer of The Roots on stage at the 2014 Philly Jam, where they took turns on remixing the iconic theme, watch below.

I like remixes, i enjoy some techno, dance, dubstep type music. I will sit and listen to game or movie soundtracks. I generally listen to rock or metal music though. I enjoy some pop, I like to think I’m really varied as to my tastes, but that was farking awful in my opinion. It just sounded like a bunch of butchering. i don’t understand how that was considered enjoyable at all.
