Borderlands 2 will be released in May alongside the PlayStation Vita slim model, Sony has announced on the PS Blog.

The Iron Galaxy Studios-developed port of the Gearbox Software shooter is Cross-Save compatible with your PS3 version, and it comes with all six add-on packs.

In the US, you can grab the game in bundle form which includes the newer-model PS Vita Wi-Fi with 1GB of memory in black, Borderlands 2, and an 8GB PS Vita memory card for $199.99.

The game and the new PS Vita Slim model arrive in North America on May 6. The PS Vita slim launched in the UK on February 7.

Borderlands 2 is slated for a European release in May, according to the EU PS Blog.

So the retailers were right. 1 month to go and we are just receiving a trailer of a game announced at Gamescom 2013.

At least it comes with DLC.

Better than earlier version, but still, I feel Sony is just sending it out to die. Wouldn’t waiting for E3 and then releasing it would be better. As it stands, it will get absolutely zero publicity.
Maybe EU version would have better date management.
