Killzone: Shadow Fall was 85p on PSN last night after Sony gaffe

Killzone: Shadow Fall was available for just 85p on the PlayStation Store last night in a DLC blunder by Sony.

It follows our report on a VG247 reader who managed to subscribe to PS Plus for free until the year 2035 through a store loophole.

The mistake was spotted on HotUKDeals last night. The poster explained that if you searched for the Killzone: Shadow Fall icon pack, the file size would mistakenly read 38GB. Buying it actually allowed you to purchase the full game.

Sony has since pulled the deal, but you have to wonder how many people managed to grab the game for under a quid. It RRPs on the PSN store at £52.99.

What do you make of the balls-up?

Yeah a little bit haha I loved Killzone 2 though…

Just this one looked like it had been done before many times so I wasn’t hyped for it, graphics are nice though.

@Panthro I agree it was nothing new just a big interactive tech demo killzone 2 was awesome and rock hard the end boss radic was solid I nearly gave up ….I’m still playing shadow fall in bits around other games their is just nothing to keep me playing till it’s finished ,once you get over how great it looks their isn’t much left that hasn’t been done before and story wise well
