Thief studio working on unannounced 3rd-person action title for PS4 & Xbox One

Thief studio Eidos Montreal is working on an unannounced third-person action title for PS4 and Xbox One. The smart money's on the new Deus Ex, but it's anyone's guess.

Videogamer spotted a tell-tale line on the LinkedIn profile of Heath Smith, senior game designer at Eidos Montreal.

Smith lists his current role as senior game designer on an, "Unannounced AAA 3rd person action adventure (PS4, XONE)."

Interestingly he adds that he was previously at Square Enix Montreal working on "various tablet prototypes," and worked on the "Unannounced AAA Hitman 're-imagining'" which we reported today as cancelled.

During the Hitman project he was responsible for third and first-person combat features and helping to create multiple Unity prototypes.

Smith's profile suggests that the new Eidos Montreal project began in November 2013, following the winding down of Thief.
