Diablo 3 Vita Remote Play under investigation at Blizzard

Monday, 11th November 2013 00:02 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Blizzard is “in the earliest stages of looking” into the possibility of supporting Vita Remote Play for the PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3.

Diablo 3 console senior producer Julie Humphreys told CVG at BlizzCon 2013 that Blizzard is considering the feature.

“One of the really cool features that comes built-in with the PS4 is this concept of remote play, so you can stream the gameplay that is happening on the PS4 over to your Vita screen. That is something we are looking into,” she said.

“I would say we are in the earliest stages of looking at that. We want to make sure that it is readable and is a good user experience.”

knowing them it will take 10 years and after they’ll remove the feature because of “unbalanced” gameplay

They may not have a choice.

I read somewhere that remote play support is mandatory for certification unless there is a legitimate reason that it’s not feasible, such as a title requiring an additional peripheral such as the Eye or controller peripherals not supported on Vita like guitar controllers or Move etc.

@3, Pretty sure it’s not mandatory according to the PS4 FAQ that was out last week.

I’d rather they make a decent vita version instead but I guess that to much to ask.
