Battlefield 3 – DICE quadrupling the number of official servers on PS3 and Xbox 360
Battlefield 3 servers are being quadrupled in number on both PS3 and Xbox 360, according to DICE. The firm said the additional servers were added due to the public’s “wish for more official DICE servers.” The firm states players will still be able to be quick matched into any ranked server with the upgrade. More information on the additional servers can be found on the Battlefield Blog.

Good, i really hated the user run ones. I sat down and decided to try and get back into it after break. But all of the user made servers turn me off. So I didn’t bother.

Yeah, it kinda sucks to have your gameplay experience depend on whether the guy running the server is an asshole or not.
The odds are rarely in your favor

I wonder if there has been a drop off on server rentals.

@5 Lol.
I actually love this whole situation. People bitched and bitched about having private servers, and now we can’t wait to see the back of them.
Perhaps some gamers will begin to realise that they don’t always know best.
