The next update on the progress of Final Fantasy XIV’s 2.0 reboot will come in mid August, producer and director Naoki Yoshida said in the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Sounds like good news right? Have this cookie for agreeing with me. Yoshida said once information on the update starts rolling out, weekly updates will be applied leading up to the game’s alpha, and beta testing. During the alpha phase, Yoshida said he hopes to release a benchmark program. And outline of the various updates and patches to the game can be found here. Thanks, Andriasang.
