Mass Effect 3 voice actors confirm new dialogue for Extended Cut
At least three of Mass Effect 3′s voice cast have confirmed a return to BioWare’s recording booth for Mass Effect 3′s Extended Cut.
Lance Henriksen, who plays Admiral Hackett, told G4, that he’s already begun recording new dialogue.
“I just did another session with them.They were saying there’s a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending,” Hendriksen said.
“So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they’ve been doing.”
Tricia Helfer, the voice of EDI, also confirmed her return, noting that she had a recording session within a few days.
Elsewhere, Raphael Sbarge tweeted his return to the role of Kaidan Alenko.
“Just when you thought I would never go back, they keep pulling me back in Mass Effect. Recording,” he said.
The Extended Cut aims to address player complaints that Mass Effect 3′s ending cinematics didn’t reflect their personal choices, although it seems events will not be altered so much as explained more fully. It is expected to release as free DLC.

So… The complete lack of logic and many stupid things stays the same… And they will just “build up” on them? :F
Geez, I hope that indoctrination theory is true… If not – BioWare FAILED SO TERRIBLY.

So they’re going out of pocket to create this content and bring these voice actors back, while giving us this DLC for free… yet of course some people won’t appreciate that. What other game company would care about what their fans were saying enough to even try to make them happy with something like this? Most other developers would be “you don’t like the ending, fuck off.”

Samuel….The reason they are doing it is not because they care about us consumers, they are simply trying to save the reputation and brand of Bioware and their franchises. DA 2 and ME 3 havn’t excactly been good for their reputation.

I for one liked the original ending. I don’t mind a bit of expansion but my imagination did a fair job of that already.

@4 Yes, that is indeed the cynical way to look at it. But I don’t think Bioware has earned that cynicism.

To say me3 hadn’t been good for their reputation it received a lot of high praise critically and seems to have sold well

After spending years, hundreds of hours with a game, plus 180 bucks.
I was hoping to sit back and watch a grande cinimatic epic at the very least a 30 minute epic final in CGI glory. Something that screamed this is it, you did it, sit back, and enjoy this grande final fire works blow out.
And we the game players were lead to believe through the pre hype interviews and press releases. This ending was about as gratifying as ending a game with “Nice Job”
