Rumour: Dragon Age getting multiplayer, Dead Space FPS

Kotaku's dumped a ton of EA rumour this morning, claiming Dragon Age is to get a multiplayer component of some sort, and that the Dead Space IP looks set to expand dramatically.

The site says that Dragon Age is to get arena-based multiplayer, but it unsure if online play will be part of Dragon Age 3 or a standalone product.

This is apparently being developed on DICE's Frostbite 2 engine. Dragons are supposedly playable, and PvE and PvP elements are both included.

In addition, Kotaku's claiming EA is looking to heavily expand the Dead Space IP, and that an FPS and a spaceship flight game based on the property are on the cards. Furthermore, an action-based project - "Uncharted in space" - is in the early planning stages.

Work on Dead Space 3 is also continuing, and, as previously tipped, is based on ice planet Tau Volantis. The third game will supposedly be the last to feature engineer Isaac as the protagonist.

As the site notes, these games haven't been announced and may never ship.
