Dark Souls review flood is go, HD video shows tutorial

The first Dark Souls reviews have gone live ahead of a general 5.00pm UK time embargo, showing high scores. Get all the scores and HD, narrated video of the tutorial sections inside.

Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls is apparently harder than Ron Jeremy overdosing on Viagra. I didn’t see too much of that in my play through the opening sections, as you can see below, but From’s sadistic fantasy RPG still managed to freak me out.

Take a look.

The review embargo’s now lifted and we’re posting everything for you below. As ever, if you have a review you want us to link, put it in the comments.

Dark Souls releases in the US today and in Europe on Friday.

Because of its insanely high difficulty, Dark Souls isn‘t for everyone. That said, after playing a while, you‘ll eventually fall in love with Dark Souls, and spend mnay, many hours on it. Prepare to die!

A highly frustrating, but also motivating Action-RPG in the best sense of the word: Keep yourself motivated and you will earn fame in this hardest game of 2011. A must-have for all RPG enthusiasts!
