UK game sales generated £27.7 million last week thanks to Gears 3, F1 2011
According to UKIE/Chart-Track and Intent Media figures, UK the games industry generated £27.7 million last week at retail, which is a 136 percent week-on-week increase and the second highest figure for the year. Last week, over 900,000 units of software were sold, which is up 74 percent over the prior week. Sales were largely driven by the release of F1 2011, and Gears of War 3 which debuted in first place on the UK charts. Thanks, MCV.

Will get Gears on discount, just seems too similar to Gears 2 which kinda bored me really and that’s saying something considering how much I loved Gears 1. Glad this trilogy has ended, hopefully the next Gears trilogy will be a bit fresher.
ps omg those BF adverts need to stop playing without my permission, given me a bloody near heart attack a few times already.

i know opinions are like assholes and all that etc. but imo gears 3 doesn’t even come close O_o
