Valve reveals Arsenal modes for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Valve have announced a new mode titled Arsenal Mode for the upcoming downloadable cross-platform shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, using talent from the mod community to recreate one of the most loved Counter-Stike: Source mods.

Arsenal Mode is based off the much-loved Counter-Strike: Source mod Gun Game, and will come with two variants – Arms Race and Demolition.
The addition of Arsenal Mode will add eight new maps to Global Offensive in addition to those that are already included as part of the default Counter-Strike Team Deathmatch modes.
The developers of the original Source mod Gun Game have been working directly with the team at Valve in order to create the Arsenal Mode in Global Offensive. “We are excited that Valve reached out and is working with us to ensure Arsenal Mode is the best version of Gun Game.”, Michael Barr, the project lead of Gun Game mod commented.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is targeted for a launch on PC, Mac, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in early 2012.

@1 It’s funny because it’s true XD We all know it’ll happen at least once on a site with this news. I had an idiot friend who is a COD fanboy on my Steam the other week saying that Battlefield 3 is copying CoDMW3 with the mod tools XD… I laughed so hard and informed him of the truth… he went rather quiet
