Bayonetta producer denies sequel news

Platinum Games producer Atsushi Inaba has said rumours of a sequel announcement are unfounded.

Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya had teased a Bayonetta 2 magazine reveal via Twitter last night, but nothing appeared in the usual Famitsu and Dengeki leaks.

Andriasang reports Inaba denied the rumours, and warned fans that Kamiya makes a lot of jokes - trolls, in other words.

Bayonetta publisher Sega is holding a press conference later today, and will announce new Yakuza titles. Kamiya's joke may have been inspired by speculation on Sega's news.

Platinum Games is currently finishing Anarchy Reigns, its latest title to be published by Sega, for January release.
