It would be awesome if someone made a game like that, except with realistic conditions so everybody had to consider what they were doing very carefully.
Just style it after “Heat” and let the robbers put out booby traps for 30 seconds before each round, so the cops have to really watch their step, offsetting their superior armor by limiting their movement, with the bankrobbers as the aggressors trying to get out.
In my dreams

Meh, Papo & Yo seemed more deserving of its own article then this crap.
This is coming out on PC too, btw. Its from SOE, not SCEE so no exclusivity.

This could actually be quite interesting. It seems mechanically somewhat similar to Left4Dead, albeit trading the zombies in for more varied objectives. (Is it actually running on Source? There’s something of the look of the engine about it.)
The downloadable shooter market is pretty competitive, but if this plays differently enough — and is competently executed, obviously — I could see myself getting £10-15 worth of enjoyment out of it.

farking hell man!
it’s like the game idea I’m currently working on:/
that is the problem about game development, it’s a race to be the first to come up with this idea. And if someone beats you to that unique idea, it feels like you ripped theirs off.

Well, that trailer has rather defused my initial enthusiasm; there’s nothing like buttrock to dampen expectations.

just watched the trailer!
exactly like my game design document.
however this game doesn’t seem to be executed well, although it’s a PSN title.

I see some potential there.
