Metro 2033 sequel may be titled Metro 2033: Last Light

The sequel to Metro 2033 may be called Metro 2033: Last Light instead of Metro 2034 if a few domain registrations are any indication.

Per information dug up by Superannuation, THQ has registered domains for LastLight, MetroLastLight and Metro2033LastLight.

THQ has said it plans to do a better job of supporting the sequel in both marketing and product development than it did with Metro 2033.

The game was released in March of 2010 for PC and Xbox Live.

There's no word just yet on when to expect the sequel, but we can expect it sometime within the next couple of years.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
