New Super Meat Boy chapter confirmed, XBLA title update ready for approval

Team Meat’s confirmed a new piece of DLC for the 360 version – title the Sewers of Dross – and said the game’s anticipated title update is to go to Microsoft for approval this week.
The DLC includes 20 levels and will only allow you to play as Gish. Difficulty, apparently, ranges from “medium to soul crushing.”
As for the title update, it’s “being submitted to MS for approval this week and should be up by the 21st (we hope).”
The dev added: “This update will fix all known bugs, erase all 0.0 times from the leaderboards and come with a totally new music track by Danny called Dr. Fetus’s Castle.”
The new content will be free. There’s no date on it as yet.
The platformer’s PC version releases later this month.

Great news. I’ve been holding off on playing the harder levels / collecting bandages until they release the patch.

You should, it’s amazing. The best thing I’ve ever got from Live Arcade to be honest. I like it so much I’m going to buy the PC version too.

Really nice of them to give it away for free. That’s how DLC should always be, too bad that no big publisher will care…
