New L.A. Noire trailer is a go, spring 2011 release confirmed

As promised earlier this week, Rockstar’s released the first new trailer of LA Noire in four years.

Get reacquainted with the game in a whole new way below.

In development for ages at Team Bondi, the game was delayed into 2011 back in September.

Once thought to be a PS3-exclusive, the game will also be released on Xbox 360 as well. The game is set in 1947 and sees you play as Cole Phelps in a corrupt LAPD.

The trailer says its out in spring 2011.

@Gekidami – Go see Sleepy Hollow, or a Sherlock Holmes, or Cadfael – forensics has been around for centuries, in varying forms.

Looks pretty goddamn good. Graphics aren’t fantastic, but everything else looks and sounds quite incredible.
Also despite the fact this game hasn’t been developed by Rockstar, the trailer is very Rockstar-esque, so I’m guessing they’ve had a bit of input into other things as well. Which can only really be a good thing.

Trailer mentions PS3 along with PSN but only references Xbox 360. Does that hint at PS3-exclusive DLC?

Can’t help but have this nagging feeling they’re gonna delay it, though.

Unless they do release it in spring. In which case, not only is the world dandy, but it probably means we’ll see Max Payne 3 for sure as well by the end of next year.

Which means the slate is clear for a 2012 release for Agent.

But then, after six/seven years of development, it can’t be delayed anymore, surely.
