If you live in North America, own a PS3 and haven’t got around to trying out 256-shooter MAG, then now may be the time.

Sony’s announced the PS3’s FPS is about to join the Greatest Hits line-up, and will therefore be available for only $29.99.

Available September 28, the budget re-release comes just in time for the new MAG 2.0 patch, which gives the game PlayStation Move support, new game modes and some new fixes.

Zipper Interactive is currently working on SOCOM 4, which is due for release next year.

MAG was released back in January.
