PlayStation VR gets price cut: new $400 bundle includes PS Camera

Sony has announced a new PlayStation VR bundle that effectively cuts the retail price of headset.

The new bundle, available starting September 1, was only announced for the US, and Canada so far.

It's priced $400/CAD$500 and comes with the PS VR headset, and the PS Camera. This will be the headset's core bundle going forward, Sony confirmed. Previously, you had to buy the PlayStation Camera separately or opt into one of the more expensive bundles.

Bundles such as the PlayStation VR Worlds, which comes with the headset, the camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds demo disc. This bundle has now been reduced to $450/CAD$580.

Finally, Sony announced that the Farpoint PS VR Aim Controller Bundle - which came with a copy of the game and the PlayStation Aim controller - is back in stock.
