Capcom announces “DMC” for PS3 and 360 – first shots and HD trailer

Wednesday, 15 September 2010 15:00 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Capcom’s just announced a new Devil May Cry known as “DMC” at its TGS event, to be developed by Enslaved and Heavenly Sword studio Ninja Theory.

Get the first screens and HD trailer below.

A trailer of the title was shown, featuring a younger version of series protagonist Dante in what appeared to an asylum. He then spins and fire dual pistols towards an enemy.

A robot sphere is said to be looking at him, asking the question “What is your name?”, before replying “My name is Dante”.

Capcom dev boss Keiji Inafune said it was too soon to talk about release dates for the game, but the publisher’s confirmed in a press release it’ll be release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

According to Ninja Theory head Tameen Antoniades, the original DMC games were a huge inspiration for him, and the new title “pulls inspiration from today’s rebellious youth” (per D’toid). The team even researched current fashion trends, street art, popular music and today’s attitudes to apply some “freshness to the series”.

Antoniades added that the team still wanted to keep what made the DMC a classic series intact, though.

Capcom supervising director Hideaki Itsuno took the stage with Antoniades to support the changes, saying that they brought a “unique sense of cool” to the series, while Capcom brought the know-how and “DNA” of the series.

He said that these will combine to make the best Devil May Cry game they possibly can.

The game is promised to “redefine the franchise,” according to Capcom.

DMC’s story goes like this:

“Set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC will depict a duplicitous world where nothing is ever as it seems and the line between good and evil is constantly blurred. Spurred into action by the promises of a trusted relation, Dante bursts into this world intent on revenge at any cost.”

Nailed like twin pistols

It rounds off speculation on the title that dates back to earlier this year, when it was rumoured Ninja Theory was developing Devil May Cry 5, according to Game Informer.

The rumour soon got a bit of weight when Capcom announced any new IPs in the future will be done in-house, with sequels from western studios. NT boss Tameem Antoniades was very coy about even debunking a such a rumour during a Namco Bandai pre-E3 event in Spain in May whilst promoting Enslaved.

“Well, there’s no way I’m gonna confirm or deny if we’ve got anything to do with it,” he told VG247 at the event.

Capcom’s Keiji Inafune said the sequel will have a “western feel”, all but confirming at the same time the game was in development.

Last night, the developer confirmed it was announcing its new game this week in Japan, while Capcom had previously said it would be announcing four new games.

A trademark filing by Capcom for “DMC” was discovered this morning.

The first shots are below, along with the trailer.

I think after the disaster that was DMC4, a new direction is the only possible for the series to redeem itself and return to the glory days of DMC1 in terms of quality. I mean, DMC4 was worse than even DMC2 and that game is like a definite personification of a “Bad sequel”.

Fuck off. No one thinks that at all, DMC4 actually sites quite well with the series purists.

All the fanbase really wanted was a new DMC with Dante as the main character and continuing the storyline from the first game (pretending the second never existed). I just don’t understand why that was so horribly hard to produce.

    #40 5 years ago
  41. zoopdeloop

they should have just called it something else also pointing it as the spiritual successor of the DMC franchise.
When fans see the title ,they expect the continuation of the franchise, with the same concept, characters story e.t.c add a few more
From the look of things it’s a reboot.Another story, other characters from scratch.(only the name Dante remains)

The trailer gave me that feeling that it might be more like an open world sand-box game

The thing to me is that no one seems to want a new reboot for DMC. Lest not all of the way. If they just changed the formula and gave the thing a good cleaning it would prolly have been fine.

Same Dante. Same stylistic look. Same fluid animation. Same flashy gun play. Same over kill combo system. But stop trying to copy the PS2 model of the game.

    New game.

Open spaces, hordes of baddies, less of those moments where your wandering around caught in a puzzle of somesort. A note to almost all JP game devs, stop doing what worked on PS/PS2. You did those things often due to hardware limitations. Those glass ceilings have been lifted. Create, live a little.

I am sorry but tight narrow hallways, bad cam ai, too much reliance on jumping, and game slowing puzzles are not gonna work like they used to.

But I am with most of you folks, this looks bad. Maybe not, time will tell. But not excited.

I think, just another example of a JP company not getting it, and another franchise that I used to enjoy, that I won’t play anymore.

I expect more out of a game today. Maybe they should redo all of their old games for the PSP. JP game devs seem to love to do that.

@58 i didn’t noticed that…but still as we can assume from the trailer Dante being captured interrogated or even used as an experiment doesn’t quite fit with the franchise as so many other things showed in that trailer

It may not be a reboot per se.Maybe another direction of the story and another direction in gameplay mechanics.Just like what Eidos did with Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness

@54 and 61 – exactly i’m not resistant to change as long as it makes sense. Watching that trailer you can bet the gameplay wont change making this just a stupid PR descision to “reimagine” the series for “the modern age” and all that bull

Off topic but when is Sonys press conference?

    #71 5 years ago
  72. daytripper

is there any games people like? nearly all the games i see announced especially over the last couple of years are ruled out totally by the majority even before they get a chance to see it properly and play it.

should check out ninja theory forums, big reaction there.

@ 72 exactly, its just stupid.

  74. theevilaires

@ 70 i thought the same exact thing. even the Nariko from Heavenly Sword looks like her real counterpart. So does the chic from Enslave. Can’t believe this guy had the balls to recreate Dante in his fucking image….

I’m not buying the game now fuck it.

DMC was crap from the first game. This just continues such a mediocre franchise.

  77. Dralen

Noooooooooo! What have they done to Dante!?

    #77 5 years ago
  78. No_PUDding

What about this game actually goes against other DMC’s?

It’s simple, his face is still the same, he’s just cut his hair short and dyed it.

    #78 5 years ago
  79. absolutezero

Theres none of the creeeazy over the top one-liner producing idiocy and style that stood DMC apart from the rest of the pack.

Its far too serious, the low-cut v-neck t-shirt floppy hair style is completely against everything that Dante originally was. Plus new Dante smokes which shows that they have no idea about the character at all. Its like “bad ass” cliches 1 through 4.

Also terrible music. Also very very slow action opposed to lightning fast.

Imagine if they re-booted Ninja Gaiden only Ryu was now a Samurai and had guns for hands.

    #79 5 years ago
  80. Hunam

    I’d buy that game tbh.

    #80 5 years ago

    Fund it.

Can’t be worse than NG2 anyway.

lol Rockets you can’t see from off-screen.

    #81 5 years ago
  82. Neolucifer

Lol of course it’s not the same , it goes beyond a bad hair job .

And since you asked … well for starter dante doesnt smoke … that’s something kamiya was very adamant about . Along many other things wrong with that new art direction …

Add my lack of thrills with a developer than hasnt made any impactful hack and slash yet , when you look at the gameplay of their games .
At least nothing as intense as DMC or Ninja gaiden, with depth yet without turning into a button mashing fest

    #82 5 years ago
  83. osric90

Hahaha. Looks kind of different…but I hardly doubt this is going to be a westernisation like Silent Hill was…I doubt Sadim king is going to touch it (and turn the series into shit).

    #85 5 years ago
  86. No_PUDding

Sorry Neolucifer, I didn’t meant to imply it was only the hair, I missed out a line there.

But what more than smoking is different? Why couldn’t Dante start smoking?

    #86 5 years ago
  87. Patrick Garratt

Isn’t he smoking when he’s a kid, though? Maybe we find out why he stopped smoking. And why his hair went white. Sorry if someone’s already said that. I’ve been busy.

    #87 5 years ago
  88. Patrick Garratt

Maybe it’s Dante’s son. SON OF DANTE. But also called Dante. Little Dante.

    #88 5 years ago
  89. Syrok

Probably smoked too much as a kid, as a result he aged early and his hair turned white. The doctor told him to stop smoking, obviously.

Kamiya explained a few times that he didnt want Dante smoking , because it’s a cheap trick to look badass , and just that , cheap .

  99. YoungZer0

@55 You’re as annoying as a cockroach. Thinkin about it. Maybe you should take that name instead, it fits so well.

Yeah I am a fan of Western Crap since Japanese Developer clearly fell asleep i took the chance and watched what the otherside had to offer. And it was better. It was less copycat. They tried more and different things. Especially the Indies.

“DMC is not about touching the subject of demons or e.t.c.” But it should be. Hell yes it should be.

“Game looks like CRAP, except of graphics that will be dated in few years. Combat system will be slow…” Graphics is the only thing we see you dumb cuntface. Fuckface, you’re not from the future so spare such retarded comments like “Combat system will be slow…” Just shut the fuck up. It’s good for your health.

Not you’re saying that your moving on to a game with cheap deaths, retarded Charakter Design (Remember, she’s a slick fighter, make her breasts much bigger), stolen Bossfights from GoW 2 and so on and so on.

Go ahead moron, leave this franchise behind, someone like you, it won’t need.

  101. Erthazus

“But it should be. Hell yes it should be.”

You are not the guy that decide what the series should do. If you want to know what Shinji Mikami wanted, clearly he never wanted to touch a subject about demons crap. Never. Period. It is his franchise and he created it.

    “And it was better.”

first of all it is different.
Second. It’s your taste and thats it.

“someone like you, it won’t need.”

Maybe you should read NT forums, VG247 community or Kotaku? Clearly almost EVERYBODY disagree with you. Period.

“on to a game with cheap deaths”

    Noob syndrom?

    “retarded Charakter Design ”

Again, you are touching the TASTE subject. Character design in Devil May Cry series were superb by Japanese standards. clearly it’s your problem if you don’t like it.
I like Western style and Japanese style. Everybody have it’s strength and weaknesses.
You mean Trish? That girl with big breasts? she is awesome. There is even Anime with DMC, a bit shitty, but still.

You are completely wrong here. Just imagine if God Of war 4 was made by Shinji Mikami. It’s not going to work, because some stuff belongs to the original material.

    @100 go to school.

  103. Michael O’Connor

Being a huge fan of the Devil May Cry series ever since the release of the very first game, I am… perfectly okay with this.

It’s different. I don’t care. Ninja Theory are a stellar development company, one of the few western devs who have the same kind of handle on tight controls and game mechanics that many Japanese devs are famous for.

If anyone can successfully breed new life into the Devil May Cry franchise, these guys can.

    Can’t wait.

    #103 5 years ago
  104. YoungZer0

    Jesus are you dumb …

First of all. Mikami left the Franchise. What he wants or doesn’t want is off the wall. If he wants it do be different he can damn well make it himself. So PLO! Nobody gives a shit. And if i can’t decide what the series is about and he can’t that means that you can’t too.

First of all it is better.
    Second your taste is sucks.

Clearly i don’t give a fuck about what other people think, i’m above them. Everybody said Heath Ledger as the Joker would be worst idea ever, i didn’t. We all know how that turned out.

Noob Syndrom: Moron I’m talking about Ninja Gaiden here. Because you brought it into the subject. And Ninja Gaiden 2 was Full of cheap deaths.

The rest is also about the Character Design in Ninja Gaiden. The number one Reason why it was always only a rental for me. The Devil May Cry has a fantastic Art-Direction even DMC 2. Though, i never liked Dante’s look in DMC 3. I know the anime and i agree.

And if I’m touching the subject Taste here, then what are the others doing? Every stupid bitch like “OH MY GOD, He’s young, he got Black hair, HEEEE’S ssssoooooo Emo.”

Oh yeah, remember the extra cheese line from DMC one where Trish died? Damn that was emo.

And if Shinji Mikami would’ve made God of War 4 the whole game would suck. His style is just too different. NT’s is not. And i love the way this trailer bitchslapped you all.

    #104 5 years ago
  105. Erthazus

    “Jesus are you dumb …”

Saying to Jesus Christ these words :D naughty, naughty.

“First of all. Mikami left the Franchise.”

True. He did a masterpiece and moved forward.

“First of all it is better.”

    “Second your taste is sucks.”

YOUR OPINION. But if you go to forums and e.t.c. a lot of people will say that your tASTE sucks. :D

“And Ninja Gaiden 2 was Full of cheap deaths.”

    Noob. Whine moar please!

“And if I’m touching the subject Taste here, then what are the others doing? Every stupid bitch like “OH MY GOD, He’s young, he got Black hair, HEEEE’S ssssoooooo Emo.””

So you are a fan of 16 year old pantsy little children that like smoking? Wow…

“Oh yeah, remember the extra cheese line from DMC one where Trish died? Damn that was emo.”

you know in what time that game was made? Of course you don’t.

“And if Shinji Mikami would’ve made God of War 4 the whole game would suck. His style is just too different. NT’s is not.”

You clearly don’t know much of a DMC formula. I mean, you don’t know what is Devil May Cry at all and why it was so popular. + you are saying that Bayonetta sucks clearly because it’s your minority opinion.

    #105 5 years ago
  106. No_PUDding

@103 I didn’t know ‘Breed new life into it’ was the term. It makes more sense than what I thought I guess.

  107. onlineatron

The very fact that your referring to a ‘Devil May Cry Formula’ means that this reboot is a GOOD thing.

Stale games are not good for anyone.

    #107 5 years ago
  108. Erthazus

@onlineatron, except that the old formula works and there are a lot of fans that like it and want it to improve. Their next generation DMC is Bayonetta for example.
NT formula is slow paced action. It’s not something NEW, it’s different.
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but it’s not created for the DMC franchise.

Maybe they are not going to rid of the old formula because they actually never showed us a gameplay trailer, BUT, judging by 2 previous games (HS and Enslaved) they don’t use that old classic combo style formula. It’s not their style.

    #108 5 years ago
  109. Michael O’Connor

@106 As much as I love the franchise (I mean LOVE! It’s up there as one of my all time favourites), DMC4 was incredibly stale.

And I’m not adverse to change. It’s been handled by a developer that I have a huge appreciation for as well, which is encouraging.

    #109 5 years ago
  110. YoungZer0

@105: You’re such a sad puppy. Before i continue this sad and pathetic conversation with you: Learn proper english. It’s not only the reason why we don’t understand you, but why you don’t understand us.

    So let’s begin.

“True. He did a masterpiece and moved forward.”

Yes, so he clearly has no saying in what direction DMC should have.

“YOUR OPINION. But if you go to forums and e.t.c. a lot of people will say that your tASTE sucks.”

Right, see this is the problem, i actually know what i’m talking about. Again I’m referring to the Heath-Joker Case. I was right all along. And i’ll be right here.

“Noob. Whine moar please!” If you go into forums and ask people they will all agree that Ninja Gaiden 2 was full of cheap deaths. Ninja Gaiden 1 on the other hand was perfect.

“So you are a fan of 16 year old pantsy little children that like smoking? Wow…”

I see, instead of addressing my point, you threw some dumb shit into the whole thing and put words into my mouth. I see you’re not very familiar in having a decent conversation.

“you know in what time that game was made? Of course you don’t.” 2001, you moron. And the series still hold’s tight to it’s cheese. “Devils never cry” Totally not emo shit.

“You clearly don’t know much of a DMC formula. I mean, you don’t know what is Devil May Cry at all and why it was so popular. + you are saying that Bayonetta sucks clearly because it’s your minority opinion.”

Onlineatron said it better than i’d have.

    #110 5 years ago
  111. Erthazus

    “Learn proper english”

Same to you my friend. So much mistakes :D that you do. Btw, i understand everything what you write, so :D

“Yes, so he clearly has no saying in what direction DMC should have”

Said a lot and i even remember what he said about cigar. He said: This trick is so cheap.
That was long long time ago :D

“Right, see this is the problem, i actually know what i’m talking about. ”

you don’t. If your prediction one time was right, thats not the case where you must say to everyone that you are always right.
and i don’t even know what you are talking about… i mean heath Joker what?

    “I see”

you don’t. I perfectly addressed your point saying that everybody moans, but you are in the minority here. Read between the lines.

    In your dream only. Minority.

    “2001, you moron.”

yaaay, kid now know how to use Wikipedia. Congratulations! Woo-hoo.

As i said before, stop beying ignorant. Your opinion is your opinion. your taste is your taste.
I don’t like Halo for example. because it’s me and my taste and i know it’s flaws and for them i don’t like that franchise.
But you think that you are a center of the earth. Calm down pal.

  112. revolting

I say, I really like the look of this.

Context: I liked the very first Devil May Cry. It’s in my top 5 list for action games. Awesome game. But the series as a whole made me cringe. While I loved the first game, loved the concept and the story, thought Dante1 was awesome, with each new title that came out in the series, I became less satisfied. With each new title, Dante became increasingly less cool badass and more emo androgynous sap. With each new title, the demons became less demonic and more toybox stupidity. With each new title, the plot became less “oh wow!” and more “what the hell?”, less awesome and more stupid. Each title became less of a good game and more of a tenuous reason to wheel out Dante Goes Nuts again for another cash-in.

People are upset because this has abandonned DMC’s grand tradition? Well, in my opinion, this looks far more faithful to the core concepts and ideals of Devil May Cry 1 than any of the games that followed (updated character designs/concepts notwithstanding), and I’m far more pleased to see this than I would have been to see DMC5 wheeled out with no new ideas.

I realise that I am in the minority in this. I realise that 99% of the internet is clinging on to their white-haired ladyboy, fanrections a-quivering. I realise that hardly anyone will agree with me in loving what I’m seeing in this trailer. And I really don’t care, because it looks awesome and I can’t wait to play it, 99% of the internet be damned.

@107: “The very fact that your referring to a ‘Devil May Cry Formula’ means that this reboot is a GOOD thing.

Stale games are not good for anyone.”

High-five. Stagnant, inbred recycling is good for nobody. Things will never get any better if we insist on them staying the same.

  119. absolutezero

The problem with DMC4 is that it took far too long to get to the actually proper good parts i.e. Dante. Then they never did anything all that exciting with him, although the entire end sequence is one of the best things in the entire series.

Anyway having just come off of the Enslaved demo im not entirely convinced as the talent of Ninja Theory, it has the same control issues as Heavenly Sword, everything is slightly fuzzy and imprecise which is fine within Enslaved thanks to its Uncharted alike platforming but would be unforgivable if placed within the DMC universe.

Then again it looks like things are slowing down a hell of alot and being spaced out aswell, meaning the fudgy controls could pass muster without that much strain being put upon them.

    #119 5 years ago
  120. absolutezero

Try experimenting a bit more Pat.

Or bump the difficulty up a notch which will force you try different things out.

Its not a button bashed by any push of the word, you’ll get bored quickly if you treat the entire thing like God of War.

    #120 5 years ago
  121. DaMan

@112 some people can see what you do, they just don’t want to go there. and don’t want to play that ;). horses for courses.

    #121 5 years ago
  122. absolutezero

I think I covered what the fanbase wanted from a new DMC earlier in the thread, hint its not the samething again with no changes. No one wants that and no ones claiming that.

Not liking the new direction does not mean that they want the series to stagnate and fade away its just them being worried about a series they love losing the core values that made it what it was.

Those being over the top, high-paced action with a stupid silly main character that shits out one-liners like hes Spiderman.

    #122 5 years ago
  123. AHA-Lambda

    @122 – exactly

and as much as i hate this dante doesnt mean i am resistant to change in a series:

i had no problem with nero in DMC4
i had no problem with raiden in MGS2
i had no problem with old snake in mgs 4
I am a bit sceptical about max payne 3 but i’m cautiously optimistic
I actually preferred the new cole in infamous 2 before they changed it again =/

as for this thought there are no words to describe how terible it truly is

    #123 5 years ago
  124. Dralen

:O I fucking loved Devil May Cry 4 and the rest of the series too. But the reason I loved it was because of Dante. His all-round awesomeness and his humour were the best parts of Devil May Cry.

I encourage changing gameplay to keep with the times but don’t change one of my favourite game characters. It’s just wrong man!

@123 That’s exactly how I felt about those games. I didn’t mind the addition of new characters, but I don’t like it when an iconic character is completely changed.

    #124 5 years ago
  125. spiderLAW

Im all for a change in gameplay and bringing something new. I just dont like the direction they took with Dante’s appearence. There are enough girly looking, Emokid, smoking pretty boys in the USA that i dont need my videogame characters to look like them too.

    #125 5 years ago
  126. DoubleM

I want my Devil May Cry to be …. (I don’t wanna use the word, but looks like I have no choice.)
I want my Devil May Cry to be satanic. If religious references are good enough in DMC, I’ll definitely get this. Story is an important part of DMC games too, this should also have a good story..
[When did Dante dye his hair brown?!]

    #126 5 years ago
  127. zoopdeloop

@124 Exactly…wasn’t that one of the main reasons DMC2 is supposed to be the worst in the series(among others)?
They changed Dante’s appearance a little bit,he had a different personality from all the other games and he could barely throw a line or two.

NT seem to be talented but i don’t think they could pull off a “hard” and demanding(by the fans) title like this so easily.Time will tell…

    #127 5 years ago
  128. The Hindle

The reason why DMC has gone crap over the years is they have been trying to beat the masterpiece that was the first DMC.

By rebooting and hopefully heading off in a new direction they may be able to make DMC less stale and revelent again, and to be honest i dont think this is aimed at the fans id say its aimed at bringing DMC to a new fanbase.

    Either disgust, or belligerent optimism.

  131. zoopdeloop

For me the 3rd was just as good as the 1st(maybe a little bit less)
TH this isn’t such a controversial genre we’re talking about like jrpg’s where they’re trying to change things to bring to a new audience.I don’t think there’s a concept of bringing DMC to a new fanbase here.

    #136 5 years ago
  137. Michael O’Connor

I love how the new redesign for Dante, an Asian looking guy who (surprisingly) isn’t a pretty boy, battered, bloody and bruised, with a style inspired by Korean post-punk fashion (example here), is being compared to pretty-boy emo fashion and Twilight.

    New Dante:

    Edward Cullen:

Yeah… sorry, I’m not seeing the correlation here.

    @140 Good comparison

    #142 5 years ago
  143. Dralen

Ah! But what about this one where he’s in character, now I can see the comparison.

    #143 5 years ago
  144. Michael O’Connor

@143 You do realise the pick I posted is actually straight from one of the movies?

And I’m still not seeing it. Those two pictures have absolutely *nothing* in common with each other.

One is an air-brushed pretty boy American with too much product in his hair, the other is a bruised and battered Asian looking kid.

The concept, design and music is almost entirely post-punk inspired – with a Japanese twist – which is all the rage over there right now.

    #144 5 years ago
  145. Dralen

Yeah your right they do have nothing in common with each other, just like this Dante and the old Dante. Which is why all the fans of Devil May Cry dislike it so much.

    #145 5 years ago
  146. Michael O’Connor

    @145 Change is not evil.

There seems to be something about the medium of video games that doesn’t happen in other cultures where fans are almost entirely adverse to change in any form whatsoever, no matter their supposed belief otherwise.

The character of Dante is outdated. He’s cliched, he’s tacky and he’s run his course. The last game, fun as it was, showed just how stagnant the franchise (and the character) has become.

Does anyone *really* want to go back to this? Honestly..?

People complain about sequelitis all the damn time, about us never seeing any fresh idea, yet when a developer actually attempts to pump some fresh blood into an old friends, they go nuts and cry treachery! Make up your damn mind, people.

And this is coming from someone who is a *huge* fan of Dante and the style of action game he essentially birthed. It’s due time for a change.

This new Dante is fresh, a little grittier in a way that doesn’t feel entirely pretentious, and “cool” in a way that I personally enjoy and relate to, having grown up amongst and being immersed in the post-punk scenes that spawned in the 80s.

Dante was never really cool. Not really. He just thought he was. This new kid actually is.

tl;dr version: Most “fans” wouldn’t have a damn clue what’s beneficial to the continued success of the franchise, or open their minds to a different approach. They can’t see beyond their own noses.

  148. zoopdeloop

Sorry Michael but this is your take on the subject that doesn’t mean that you’re right.
As for all the comparisons above i think @143 came a little bit closer.there is a resemblance mainly from these shots

    #148 5 years ago
  149. Michael O’Connor

@148 I never said I was right or wrong. It’s called “opinion”.

Ignoring the fact that I’ve already discounted any resemblance between the two, I’m still waiting for someone to explain to me *how* in the hell they resemble each other.

    #149 5 years ago
  150. Dralen

I never said there was anything wrong with change. But they’re not just changing Devil May Cry there completely destroying it and making Devil May Cry into something it’s not. Why didn’t they just make a new game? Instead they’re using a brand name to get people’s attention, when they could have just made a new game. Why use something that has millions of fans already and completely cast them aside? It’s wrong, I can’t remember a time when a awesome character like Dante has just been totally remade.

    #150 5 years ago
  151. zoopdeloop

If it’s your “opinion” then stick to it as long as you respect other’s as well.Constant quoting has another meaning,it’s more like forcing an “opinion” which puts you in the place that you think yours is the right one.

    #151 5 years ago
  152. Michael O’Connor

@150 “Why use something that has millions of fans already and completely cast them aside?”

    This is why.

@151 No, it’s called critical thinking. More people should try it.

“Millions” of fans? More like “a million”.

Don’t get testy just because your own opinion is being challenged.

    #152 5 years ago
  153. Dralen

10 Million sales and 4 games and it only has 1 million fans, where’s the math in that?

As I said before, where has an iconic character’s complete makeover ever gone down well?
