Blur TV ad takes aim at Mario Kart
In Mario Kart, you use green, red and blue shells. In Blur, you use more powerful power-ups. Do the math.
The Bizarre racer takes the piss out of it, with the impression that the former is the more serious edition.

That karting game looks awesome! I’ve been looking for something like that since I finished Sega All Stars Racing. I want to play as that pink penis-shaped character. When’s it out? I don’t know why they mixed in footage of that other game, it looked rather dull.

My impression from playing the MP beta was that it was essentially Mario Kart minus any of the charm and character.
