DJ Hero 2 is in the works and features DJ Shadow, as it was in last year’s debut. At least according to the man himself.

“It was interesting,” the DJ said in an interview with Radio One presenter Zane Lowe over his involvement in the original title. “I’m actually working on the next one as well. But yeah, it was a trip.”

He further added: “I never thought I’d be in a game, let alone doing what I was doing on the backhands, putting the mixes together.”

Shadow mentions it at about 1:31 into the interview. Watch it here.

It’s not the first time DJ Hero 2 has been mentioned since the release of the previous game in October last year.

French house DJ David Guetta said back in January he’s working on stuff for it, while Activision president Bobby Kotick has already said he “can’t wait for you to see” the sequel.

And to top it all off, an internal GAME document given to VG247 a couple of weeks ago said that the game was due for release in October.
