The official Twitter account for Metro 2033 teased that DLC for shooter is currently being tested over at 4A.

Here’s the tweet:

Testing the DLC over the weekend… it’s probably not what you expect, but we think the true Metro 2033 fans will love it.

Last month, THQ and 4A announced on the games official Facebook page the game that production had started on DLC.

“With the game now finished, we have been turning our thoughts to potential DLC,” read the post. “We’ve got some ideas, but nothing we can talk about right now other than to say it won’t be new single player narrative content, ‘missing levels’ or anything like that – it’s something we’re only just starting production on.

“And no, it’s not multiplayer. That would be very cool, but sadly not possible.”

Hopefully, what the DLC entails will be revealed soon.

Why not? 4 Player Coop in the Style of Killing Floor or the zombie levels from CoD WaW would work perfectly.

I think it’s new weapons or something.

Because the game is not made for mp.

Then make it. That’s simply no argument.

You obviously don’t know what it entails to make the game mp. It cant be done through dlc. The actual game has to have it. Plus the creators said it would never have it.

So how do you explain the MP mod for San Andreas or the wip mp mod for Just Cause 2?

The coding for MP was already in there just laid dormant. Just like most Unreal Engine games.

@6: Just Cause 2 doesn’t use the Unreal Engine.

I know they don’t plan a Multiplayer, i just don’t think it’s impossible to make.

Not saying its impossible. I am just saying the developers will not offer it. Just saying it will be difficult if the game does not have the programming for it.
