Red Dead Redemption pre-order incentives for US and UK
Pre-order deals are coming out of the woodwork for Red Dead Redemption, and we have ‘em listed for you below.
At GAME, pre-ordering the cowboy shooter will net you the Deadly Assassin outfit, providing you with increased Dead Eye (slow-mo shootin’) regeneration.
Amazon UK customers get the Golden Guns Pack, which makes you more famous with each kill, resulting in more side missions and costing you less in bribes when dealing with corrupt lawmen.
HMV pre-orders contain the War Horse Pack, which is a faster horse that’s more resistant to damage.
Zavvi customers get a Brady Games mini-guide.
The War Horse and Golden Guns pre-order goodies are also available at Best Buy and Amazon in the US, respectively, and you already know about the GameStop free outfit voting going on.
Game Crazy is offering the Brady mini-guide, while Target and Walmart will hand over $5 and $10 gift cards, respectively, with a free t-shirt from Rockstar Warehouse.
Game’s out April 27 and 30 in the US and UK, respectively, and NYC is getting prepared for it as we speak.

Getting pretty sick of all of this pre-order bonus malarkey.
Look at that – every major online retailer has their own different pre-order bonus… Good luck deciding which to get.
If this is to incentivise people to pre-order the game early then it has completely backfired with me. All this nonsense has just annoyed me so much that I think I will pass up on a pre-order get the game cheap later in the year.

As always, no point in pre-ordering when 1-2 days after release the supermarkets have a price war and the codes to unlock the bonus pre-order items show up on the web.

okay the golden guns and war horse packs sound very awesome, but sadly i’m going to pre-order from gamestop which means i probably will not be able to get them unless they’re made available as FREE DLC, cause i think that if pre-order bonuses are made available they should be free!

I am REALLY getting sick of this shit. When pre order bonuses get so cluttered that I can’t get every bonus without pre ordering multiple times then all i will do is wait until I get the game cheaper.
And THAT is what I am going to do >:(
