Visceral: "No plans" to do Dante's Inferno II

Visceral Games' producer Jonathan Knight has said in an interview the studio currently has no plans to develop a sequel to Dante's Inferno.

Instead, the developer's full undivided attention will go towards Dead Space 2.

"I've read the entire divine comedy and I've given it some thought, but there are no plans," said Knight, speaking to Industry Gamers.

"We are working on expansions to Dante's Inferno that will be coming out soon, like a prequel campaign that shows the dark forest and unveil."

The prequel level the exec refers to is the Dark Forest DLC, which will be released in March.

Yesterday, it was revealed a second DLC pack, known as St. Lucia, will feature a mission creator and co-op, although this hasn't been formally confirmed yet.

It's expected in April for PSN and Xbox Live.

In the same interview, Knight mentioned he'd like to work on a Macbeth title at the studio.

A Super Bowl ad was also announced for the horror this week, which can be found here.

Dante's Inferno releases this Friday for PS3 and 360 in the UK, with a release on Tuesday in the US.
