Modern Warfare 2 PS3 and 360 comparison shots

I done a thread on this from the lens of truth 2 days ago.
360 shaded it on load times and graphs.

For gods sake, please someone tell these people who do comparrisons that the PS3 default settings are terrible. Tweak them and it’ll be exactly the same as the 360.

why do alot of ps3 multiplats lack the bloom effect? ive noticed this in skate 2, borderlands and mw 2, and prob more games

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s a testament to the developers that the game looks this remarkably similar on two different systems. Only difference I see is contrast settings which can always be adjusted via TV.

P.S. The rain and fire effects in the single player campaign are amongst the best I’ve seen in a video game to date.

Wow big difference, like wow…. Seriously though if this shit gives you a boner then fuck off eh? On a different note, any 360 users having any problems? Achievements not registering? No servers? No party support? All that good shit is happening to me on my ps3, so forgive me if i could give a toss about contrast …

Other than Brightness, they both look the same to me. The PC version does look way better though but what do you expect at 2560×1600 at 4xAA?

The game has its moments. Its true that there are some outragously bad textures at some points, but at the same time some of the effects are stunning.

It’s been a silky smooth launch on the 360 as far as I can tell. Surprised there have been no server issues at all – I was expecting MP to be unplayable for a couple of days at least. Quite impressed.

Heh – amusing to see these guys saying that the PS3 has ‘less blocky shadows’ when the guys that reask linked in the forums say exactly the opposite.

I suspect what this actually means is ‘they’re both pretty much the same’.

someone should make an iPhone spot the difference game out of all these comparison shots… what a waste of time.
