Burnout Paradise Toys Pack to cost $12.99/€12.99/£9.99/1000 MS

Criterion’s priced its Burnout Paradise Toys Pack DLC at $12.99/€12.99/£9.99/1000 MS, as you can see here.
That’s the price for all the content available.
“This collection gets you ALL 9 Toy Vehicles,” said the firm on its site.
“That’s the 8 cars and the amazing Toy Nakamura Firehawk motorcycle. This represents the best possible value for you, and it’s the only collection that has the Toy Firehawk. If you love the Toys as much as we do, then this is collection that you want!”
There are two smaller packs as well, each with a selection of all the vehicles, priced $5.99/€5.99/£4.99/480 MS.
All details through the link.
The content releases for 360 and PS3 today.
Thanks, Syrok.

Seems expensive when you consider all the brilliant content they released for free. Strange.

I think they start to get a little too greedy now. It should have been not more than 10 Euros.

It’s worth 800 points max in my mind. I know they’ve given so much free content but that doesn’t mean you can start charging more for the paid-for stuff. Especially if these are just only cosmetically different to the vehicles they are based on.

I’m a huge fan of Burnout Paradise and plan to purchase the island when it hits but these cars are just too pricey

Such a shame. They were the best of the best when it came to DLC… now they’re just peddling trash for cash.

To be realistic, rational, and non-fanboyish like 90% of the mountain-out-of-molehill responses to this news so far…
The payment for this stuff is likely pressure put on Criterion by Electronic Arts to monetise their investments. I’m not going to whinge like a girl about that fact; we’re in the middle of a recession, and the only thing that happens when *big* companies don’t make as much money as they used to is people losing jobs.
Yes, they’re expensive, but the prices are dictated on Xbox Live by file size. Any company that chooses to provide their content for free or cheaper than the dictated size-price has to pay for the privilege.
I will probably pass on this and wait for the Island Pack. That’s the one I’ve really been waiting for.

I can’t see the point of this pack at all, and they’re asking for ten, for something I don’t even see the point of – no chance! Not interested.
