The PUBG HypeZone Mixer channel only shows streams of players close to the win

HypeZone is proving to be one of the best ways to watch others play PUBG online.

Mixer, the Microsoft-owned Twitch competitor, has rolled out a new channel dedicated to PUBG called HypeZone. The channel only shows rounds in their final moments, when a streamer is closest to the win.

Mixer flips through all available PUBG streams, and only features one that matches the criteria. The channel will continue hosting the streamer until they either win, or die. Then, it will move to the next one in line automatically.

It's similar to NFL's RedZone, which American readers will be familiar with. You're essentially shown nothing but action, and the idea has already garnered much praise form the community even though it's still in beta.

This is good for viewers, because it guarantees that you'll always be watching something interesting, but it's also great for smaller Mixer channels. Getting featured on HypeZone brings in more viewers, and it all counts.

If you have your own channel, you can opt out of being featured, as anyone who streams PUBG on Mixer has the potential of being featured. This isn't exclusive to Xbox One, either, as you'll see plenty of PC streams mixed in with Xbox One.

You can watch PUBG HypeZone through Mixer online, or through the apps on Xbox One or Android/iOS.
